Easy (And Stylish) Halloween Costumes

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love to decorate AND to dress up. I’ve thought up the perfect costume this year. While I don’t know where we’re celebrating, I know what I’m going as! I always love to make my costumes so I thought I would share a few easy low cost/no cost costumes that can probably be made from items in YOUR closet!

Sandy from Grease

…What You’ll Need…
Off the Shoulder Black Shirt/Tank
Black Skinny Jeans or Thick Leggings
Black Stretchy Belt
Red High Heels
This costume is super easy! It is basically an all black ensemble! Make sure most of your clothing items are fitted. You might not wanna wear your tightest clothes, but you wanna show off your assets! If you don’t have a black stretchy belt, you can buy black elastic from a craft/fabric store and staple it together.

To truly achieve this look, use curlers or a curling iron to curl all of your hair. Run your fingers through it and fluff it all up. You want it to look big. Makeup is simple for this costume. Keep your eyeshadow neutral/brownish tones or use none at all. Rim eyes in black eyeliner and add 2 coats of mascara. Finish face with RED LIPSTICK! Any lipstick will work as long as its bright red. The only jewelry needed is Medium to Large Gold Hoop earrings! DONE!
…Extra touches…
If you have it, add a black leather jacket to hold over your shoulder.
A small red scarf to tie around your neck.

That 70′s Girl

Farrah Fawcett + Women’s Wardrobe from that 70′s show=this costume!
…What You’ll Need…
Printed Flowy Top
Flare Jeans
Skinny Belt
Wedges/Platforms
Large Hoop Earrings

You might not have to buy anything for this costume. If you’ve got one of this season’s biggest trends, flare jeans, you are set for this costume! Tuck your flowy top into your jeans and add a skinny belt. Top with wedges or platforms and big hoop earrings. Curl your hair with outward from your face to get big “Farrah” hair! The bigger the better!! (they also make wigs like this if you have shorter hair.)

Makeup can be pretty much the same as your everyday makeup. Maybe add false eyelashes and a little more bronzer for that perfect Farrah face. Voila, you’re ready to trick or treat!
...Extra touches...
Tie a silky short scarf around your neck,
Add some large bangles to your wrist.
Tie a piece if thin ribbon or cord around your forehead for a more boho look!
Strike your BEST Charlie’s Angel pose!

Gypsy

...What You'll Need...
A full, mid-or-long, colorful skirt
Hoop earrings
Two colorful patterned scarf (One for your hair; one for your waist)
Flowy white blouse
Lots of jewelry (especially bracelets and rings)
Gladiator Sandals

If you don't already have these items, they could be found at Goodwill for cheap. This is all about over abundance. Lots of jewelry. Think bangles up each arm and rings on every finger. Layer lots of necklaces on too. Wrap a scarf around your waist over your shirt and skirt. Keep your hair full and wavy. Think beachy hair. Tie a small scarf or headband around your head . Gladiator sandals or strappy heels will add whimsy to this costume. Feel free to play with your makeup on this one. Wear fun eyeshadow colors like green, blue, or purple.

...Extra Touches...
Coin Belt
Tambourine

Most of all, wear your biggest smile and have fun! Eat lots of goodies. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
